Project types supported

The CRF can only support projects for which we have an approved carbon accounting methodology (CAM). This is to ensure consistency in the calculation and comparison of carbon savings resulting from carbon reduction projects. We currently have CAMs for the following project types:

•           Renewable energy generation up to 5MW (PV, wind, hydro, solar hot water)

•           Energy efficient refurbishment of multiple dwellings (social housing)

•           Energy efficient refurbishment of schools

•           Woodland creation.

We are always looking to increase the number of approved CAMs and are currently extending the renewable energy methodology to incorporate heat generated by biomass and heat pumps.
